What is Enigma Emporium?

Enigma Emporium creates immersive puzzle-based mystery games that challenge players to decipher codes, solve ciphers, and uncover intricate narratives. Our games are designed for puzzle enthusiasts, escape room fans, and lovers of mystery.

 

How do your games work?

Each of our games presents a series of puzzles that players solve by analyzing provided materials. Some games involve postcards, while others feature playing cards or other unique components. Players may need to research online, use ciphers, and think creatively to progress.

 

Do I need an internet connection to play?

Most of our games are designed to be played using only the physical materials provided. However, some puzzles may require an internet search or access to specific websites for verification.

 

Ordering & Shipping

Where do you ship from?

We ship from our warehouse in the USA, and orders to U.S. customers are typically processed quickly. International orders may take longer due to customs processing. Soon we will also have a EU warehouse placed in Sweden.

 

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship to USA and Canada from our USA Warehouse and to EU and UK from our Swedish Warehouse! However, shipping times and costs vary depending on the destination. Note VAT or customs fees upon arrival depending on destination.

 

How long does shipping take?

U.S. Orders: Typically 3-7 business days.

International Orders: Usually 2-4 weeks, depending on location and customs clearance.

What if my order is lost or damaged?

If your order doesn’t arrive within the estimated time frame, or if it arrives damaged, please contact us at contact@theenigmaemporium.com with your order details. We’ll do our best to resolve the issue.

 

Game-Specific Questions

Which game should I start with?

If you're new to Enigma Emporium, we recommend starting with "Wish You Were Here", our entry-level postcard mystery. For a more intricate experience, "Carte Rouge" offers a rich historical narrative with deep puzzles.

 

Are your games replayable?

Most of our games are designed for one-time play because once you solve the puzzles, you know the answers. However, you can pass them along to friends or family to enjoy.

 

Can I play your games solo or with a group?

Our games are designed to be played solo or cooperatively with a group. The ideal number of players varies, but most games work well with 1-4 players.

 

How long do your games take to complete?

Shorter games like Funny Pages Promo Pack: 2-4 hours

More complex games: 10+ hours, possibly over multiple sessions

 

Hints & Support

What if I get stuck on a puzzle?

Each game comes with a structured hint system. You can find hints on our website, which gradually guide you to the solution without spoiling the answer outright.

 

Do I need to cut or write on game materials?

For our physical games, you do not need to cut, fold, or mark materials permanently. However, if you purchase a digital download of our postcard games, you may need to print and cut them to the correct size.

 

Purchasing & Returns

Do you accept returns?

Due to the nature of our puzzle games, we generally do not accept returns on opened products. However, if your item is damaged or incorrect, contact us for a resolution.

 

Do you offer gift options?

Yes! Our games make great gifts. At checkout, you can enter a gift recipient’s shipping address. We don’t include pricing information in the package. We also have gift cards to sell in the shop.
