Naughty or Nice - Card 3

Naughty or Nice - Card 3

Remember, if you haven't used our clues pages yet, check out the instructions here to learn how they work and how to best utilize them.

Clue 1

Those quotes on the front of the card are really... thought-provoking.

πŸ‘οΈ

Clue 2

Those are real quotes too! Do you know who said each of them?

πŸ‘οΈ

Clue 3

Each of those names has just as many letters as there are symbols underneath those quotes.

πŸ‘οΈ

Clue 4

You don't need all those symbols, just the plus signs.

πŸ‘οΈ

Solution

Putting the names of the people who made those quotes underneath their quotes, the plus signs are the only letters you need from their names. This will give you a wonderful place called ICELAND.

πŸ‘οΈ

Clue 1

Similar to the other stamps we've had so far.

πŸ‘οΈ

Clue 2

This one also has 26 flanges around the edge.

πŸ‘οΈ

Clue 3

Hmmm... but this one seems to only have one missing flange. Anything else on the stamp to help you out?

πŸ‘οΈ

Solution

The missing flange will give you "N" plus the image of "Ice" gives you "NICE."

πŸ‘οΈ

Clue 1

Ho, ho, ho! Santa's hat has quite a few equations floating around it.

πŸ‘οΈ

Clue 2

That math involves quite a few things from a popular Christmas song!

πŸ‘οΈ

Clue 3

S+Pipers, but how many Pipers are there?

πŸ‘οΈ

Clue 4

There are Eleven pipers piping in the Twelve Days of Christmas so we'll want to subtract eleven from the letter S (Letter + 11 = S).

πŸ‘οΈ

Solution

If all the math is done correctly, you should arrive at a wonderful plate of "HAKARL" to share with Santa.

πŸ‘οΈ

Clue 1

We love a good selection of ornaments for decoration.

πŸ‘οΈ

Clue 2

However, the lines on the strings holding them is more important.

πŸ‘οΈ

Clue 3

If a line is broken in two by the string, it is two lines. If it is not cut in half by the string, it is one line.

πŸ‘οΈ

Clue 4

The first ornament has a total of sixteen lines.

πŸ‘οΈ

Solution

The number of lines for each stringed ornament is "16, 15, 16, 7, 21, 14" and using a simple alpha-numeric cipher, that makes a fun toy: a "POP GUN".

πŸ‘οΈ

Clue 1

You'll want to solve the rest of your card first.

πŸ‘οΈ

Clue 2

The message to Santa is your biggest clue here.

πŸ‘οΈ

Clue 3

There are quite a few numbers in this letter to Santa.

πŸ‘οΈ

Clue 4

There are quite a few references to previous answers here too .

πŸ‘οΈ

Clue 5

Question Number ONE is how I behave.

πŸ‘οΈ

Solution

The message helps you to index the previous answers that you've solved for already. This will give you NORA.
